Authors should submit their abstracts through the online submission system by following the link

Abstracts are accepted in the following languages: Portuguese, English, or Spanish. The papers can be presented in one of these three languages.
No delegate should submit and present more than 3 abstracts.
Submissions must be made by April 2, 2026.
If you have not submitted through this system in the past, you will need to create a user account by clicking the "Registration" tab in the online system.
After you log in to the system, click "+ Create new submission" in the Author Console.
Enter the title, the abstract text (around 400 words).
The section "AUTHORS" should list your e-mail address, Name, Organization, and Country.
To add more authors, please enter the e-mail address of your co-author and click "+ Add." Fill in the fields to provide the name, organization, and country of your co-author and click "+ Add." Repeat this process to add more co-authors.
Select two SUBJECT AREAS.
Click "Submit."

The organizing committee will notify all submitting authors of their decision by May 5, 2026.
May 31, 2026 - Pre-registration is due, and Presenters must register to be included in the program.
The abstracts presented at the 33rd APDR Congress will be published in the Congress Book of Abstracts online (PDF) with an ISBN.
Papers presented at the Congress can be considered for publication in the following Journals:
1 –Portuguese Review of Regional Studies (SCOPUS);
2 – Discover Sustainability (SCOPUS and Web of Science);
3 – Journal of Management & Organization (SCOPUS and Web of Science);
The invited papers submitted will undergo the journal's regular review process.
The Organizing Committee will look for the opportunity to promote the production of special issues of these Journals.
Prize for the Best Paper presented to the 2026 APDR Congress: Any abstract presented at the conference is eligible.
Prize for the Young Researcher: Open to young researchers (up to 35 years at the time of presentation), who must apply through the abstract submission.
